Sheckles is the virtual currency unique to this game. In addition to selling your crops, you can obtain Sheckles from other players through a trade system. As the main currency, it can be used for various things:

1.Purchasing seeds: You will learn to buy Grow a Garden seeds in the beginning of the gameplay.
2.Upgrading the farm: You can expand the farm by spending 250M of Sheckles.
3.Buying Decorations: You can get decorations to make your farm look more amazing.
4.Joining events: Some events require you to pay a certain amount of Sheckles to participate.
5.Buying Pets: Taking a pet gives you a boost and it is less lonely when playing the game.
6.Trading: Buy various things you don't have from other players.

Tips to Earn Sheckles

1.Aim for the seeds with higher values. There are Bone Blossom, Candy Blossom, or even Moon Blossom that you can get. If you are just starting out, you can pick fruits that can be harvested multiple times such as apples from Sam. 
2.Save your Sheckles to buy sprinklers as they can increase mutation chances. It can boost your plants' growth speed too. After using one, don't forget to exit the game since the mutation usually happens when you're offline.
3.Utilize mutation stacking where you expose the plants to multiple factors such weather, sprinklers, growth mutations, and pets' ability.

Taking Advantage with More Sheckles

With a high amount of Sheckles, you have the opportunity to participate in various events or activities in game. You can buy so many useful things including super rare seeds, allowing you to plant unique crops immediately. You can also buy seeds that you fail to get for some reasons such as not completing the event quests. 

If you start without the Sheckles, however, you will start slowly with the basic plants to earn Sheckles. You will be spending so much time harvesting, selling, and buying more seeds, not to mention reworking on your farmland. It is time consuming even without gag pets.
